The Pub Master knows MANY other adventurers. In the giving of free or discounted meals and drinks, and in the exchange of information in the Pub, the Pub Master has a vast knowledge of current events, local guilds, and less-than-savory characters in their hometown. As such, the Pub Master Background grants the player advantage on Knowledge Checks if the subject regards their hometown and nearby areas, or major events in the greater area.
