Society Of The Golden Hin Image

You are a member of the enforcement arm of the halfling realm of Delmyr, in the Hordelands. The Society of the Granite Hin investigate crimes and the Society of the Crystal Hin adjudicate guilt or innocence and impose penalties. It is your task to enforce any guilty verdict. Training for the Golden Society begins young and many fail, but the few who succeed are the very best, and the skills they learn considerable. Most of the Hin accept their punishments with if not grace at least resignation. Some few resist and, of course, there are the occasional outsiders who run. They are always pursued. In the rare case of the sentence of death, it is the assassins of the Golden Hin who carry it out, no matter how far they have to go.  Nearly all members of the Society are halflings.
