Languages: You have picked up one of the languages of the other races among whom you dwell.

Equipment: A set of dark common clothes including a hood, and a pouch containing 15 gp

Suggested Characteristics

Ratonga often have personalities that distinguish them from members of other races just as surely as their rat-like appearance sets them apart. Some of these traits are attractive; others, less so.

1	I love music, singing, and dance, and often hum, sing quietly, or beat out a rhythm.
2	I am always calm and composed, no matter what is happening around me. I never let my emotions interfere with I must do.
3	I always make careful plans about what I will do, but I can easily modify or abandon them if the Rhythm changes.
4	I love having conversations with strangers, and I ask them all kinds of questions about their lives and opinions.
5	I like to be well-dressed at all times, and hate getting dirty.
6	I speak Common (and other languages) with an exaggerated ratonga accent just to annoy people.
7	I am often sarcastic, and enjoy using my large vocabulary to try to insult people without them noticing.
8	I have a great deal of nervous energy, and tend to fidget if I have nothing to do.

3	I tell so many lies that sometimes I become confused about what is true and what I have said.
4	My sense of mischief sometimes overwhelms me, so that I play pranks or tell jokes when it's not appropriate.
5	My curiosity is so strong that sometimes I stick my nose into things that would have been better left alone.
6	My romantic urges can overwhelm my common sense.
