The Many Lives Of Equesnick Image

I may have lived many lives, some on the road slaying monsters and exploring ancient ruins to find arcane secrets, other lives have been in one destination protecting it or simply going from day to day with work to carry me through my time. (Decide from One of the three backstories.)

The Mercenary I was signed with were a brutal and effective fighting force named "High Class Hounds". They were founded by a coalition of lords forming an order of Knights that had fallen into greed and corruption eventually becoming a Mercenary band mostly employed by losing factions in a war. The reason only losing factions would take on the Hounds as contracted soldiers was because the Hounds not only would take a massive payment to be employed they also took all treasure and spoils captured or won in any battle they were affiliated with. As well as greedy the Mercenaries were untrustworthy, prideful, and very violent, making for a pore choice in fighting companions.  

The Order I created of Traveling Knights specialize in dealing with Monsters, cultist, and Arcane Hazards. However they will deal with most problems as long as they're not to far outside the realm of their expertise.

The Adventurer I have become has seen much of the land and its various flora and fauna. I have discovered ruins and magical locations through my time, and yet I always am looking forward to the next view over the next hill exited about life and what lies in store.

Mercenary: You know the mercenary life as only someone who has experienced it can. You are able to identify mercenary companies by their emblems, and you know a little about any such company, including the names and reputations of its commanders and leaders. You can find the taverns and fest halls where mercenaries abide in any area, as long as you speak the language. You can find mercenary work between adventures sufficient to maintain a comfortable lifestyle.

knight: As a knight of an Order you receive shelter and succor from members of your knightly order and those who are sympathetic to its aims.This help comes in the form of shelter and meals, and healing when appropriate, as well as occasionally risky assistance, such as a band of local citizens rallying to aid a sorely pressed knight in a fight, or those who support the order helping to smuggle a knight out of town when he or she is being hunted unjustly.

Adventurer: You can always find a job, but somehow you can never find a place to sleep. People know you`re good for the work, but the fact that you are indicates that you`re probably not the sort of person they want to have around. People view adventurers in a mixed light with conflicting values. On the one hand, most adventurers are nothing more than murderous, grave-robbing vagrants. On the other hand, who else will rob that grave and murder those local bullies for you? Most common folk consider adventurers to be dangerous, unpredictable, and probably insane... But in a world filled with slavers, mad cults, dragons, walking dead, pit fiends, and extra dimensional horrors, just about everyone could find a use for a psychotic sell-sword. Adventurers who survive and reach higher renown may find they have a small following of supporters or fans, but even they may cringe at the idea of that adventurer spending an evening in their home. Most adventurers by profession are members of an adventurers guild through which they can readily attain professional work and contacts in the field.
