A cataclysmic event, for the world, or just for you, has left you wandering desolate wastes for some time. Your interpersonal skills may have suffered, but your instincts for adapting your habitat, and utilizing whatever scraps of civilization you encounter into something that keeps you alive- are well-honed. You are in possession of a scrappy will to live, to return to civilization, or to avoid what awaits you beyond death.

Feature: Scavenger's Ingenuity

You have an excellent memory for landscapes and you have advantage in searching for safe havens and resources. In addition, you can spend a short rest near scrap or raw crafting resources to create a small item of simple mechanics and structure.  You can spend several short rests or days crafting larger or more complicated mechanisms at the discretion of the DM, but generally 1 hour per 10gp equivalent item worth.
