Conventional means were not enough for you to slay the monsters you pursue. You have chosen to go under intense training and blood magic to have bring yourself closer to the creatures you hunt in order to better understand them, and better slay them. The Blood Rituals you engaged in are closely guarded secrets by a few select Orders. Each of these Orders specializes in a different variety of monstrosity, knowing concoctions to harm them, and tinctures to shield against them. Despite their specializations they are all of them proficient hunters of a wide variety of creatures. Unfortunately the very same ritual that granted your powers has left your soul marked for all to see and common folk will always regard you with caution at best, but more frequently with fear.

How did you come to be a end up in such an Order? Were you already an adult, who swore vengeance after losing a loved one? A urchin offered a chance at a future off the streets? Or a child freely given by parents in lieu of payment for a hunters services?

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from among Arcana, Investigation, Intimidation, or Survival.
Languages: You learn the languages of evil races and planer threats. Learn two exotic languages.
Equipment: Signifier of your apprenticeship in your Order (small statue, a badge, anything small), a small book containing lessons of your Order (or a personal journal), a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 15gp.

Hunters' Orders

Each Order has specific histories and practices that could be entirely unique. Your order could be a storied and secretive school, that has existed for a thousand years and will for a thousand more. Or a splinter group of a different Order with new practices and powers. Maybe you are the first of a new type of hunter and an order will blossom from your legend.   (Here are some suggestions based on Mercer's writing and my own ideas. If you don't like the feel of something ignore it, change it, or use something else )

Orders of the Ghostslayer: These Orders tend to be the oldest and most established of any of the others. They were the first of the Hunters and most Orders can trace their history to them. They might even be an official group recognized by a king as his personal hunters. They could be the easiest to find but too caught up in there own politics and traditions to do anything.

Orders of the Lycan: These Orders are the second oldest groups. Less numerous than the Ghost Slayers, but with larger memberships and stronger bonds between members. Since their power holds some calculated risk to it they are also quite driven. The members of these Orders might treat each other as a type of extended family considering their shared curse.

Orders of Mutant: These are the newest of the established groups and are even more secretive than the rest. They treat their power with a distance provided to them by the almost scientific nature of their abilities. They are the least caught up in tradition and are the most professional to deal with.

Orders of the Profane Soul: These Hunters are outcasts among outcasts. Their power has the highest cost and can make them subservient to great evils. If they are established then they would be of the celestial variety. Or if not celestial then maybe an outright evil organization, or part of some larger cult. Lone Hunters could be good no matter what.

Feature: Monstrous Professional

The ordeal of becoming a blood hunter is fraught and not all survive, this has left your soul permanently marked. Though people will seldom treat you as anything as an outsider, even nobles know that people of your ilk ought to be treated with respect as true professionals. Out of this respect for your skills, people will rarely try to haggle the price of your services, so long as they are within reason. Additionally when pursuing a target, particularly one you specialize in, people in authority will recognize your proficiency and seek to aid you, granting you privileges and access you may not otherwise have.
