You basically have been America Chavez and teleported through at least one alternate reality into another.
- Skill Proficiencies: You are more intelligent and well-informed about many things. You are wiser in almost every aspect of life.
- Tool Proficiencies: You are good with weapons from your actual reality but can learn new weapons within a reasonable and impressive amount of time (2-3 turns)
- Languages: You have learned many languages but haven't ever learned an entire language since you travel across the Multiverse a lot.
- Equipment: You have upgraded equipment that can come useful or useless depending on the situation in which you are in.
You have travelled far and wide.
Requires a Nat20 roll with a +10 modifier in wisdom to use this feature. Must be lvl 20 and have a lvl 20 staff, wand, or enchanted object to use correctly. If backfired (nat1-19) enemy has surprise +8 advantage against you. This feature opens a portal in which your opponent is launched into. Range=30 ft. WARNING: Do not use if cursed dice (Or not your lucky dice) is used. You will get sucked in if within 30 ft and won't return unless feature is used correctly.
Spell List
This bakcground only adds the Portal Usage spell.
| Spell Level | Spells |
|---|
See: 'Spell Usage' and 'Researcher Spell Usage' in 'Multiversal Wanderer.'
Suggested Characteristics
Your characteristics include getting sick more, -3 on each roll, multiversal awareness, +3 on each non-combat roll, and enhanced senses, +5 on combat with +8 surprise (essentially, you have Spidey-Senses).
Contacts
If with researcher variant, multiversal contact is possible if The Watchers allow.
This variant studies all aspects of each universe they travel to with ease and intent of learning language and desirable topics, like advanced weaponry, and can use across universes with a +5 research+wisdom modifier.
The same as the regular feature but can be rolled at a nat15 or higher with the +5 research+wisdom modifier. This is because they are more knowledgeable about the surroundings and patterns in the multiverse and can easily detect multiversal waves and radiation.
