Though you are a member of this distant tribe, you will find little in terms of allies wherever you are. As a member of the Stormside Tribe, you have a deep appreciation for society and community and especially others who claim the Stormside name.

The tribe, a community of halflings both lightfoot and stout, collectively use the surname "Stormside" to boast of their descent. Stormsiders, the nickname given to them by the humans they settled near or came across, are adept in mountainous, grassland, and forested regions and have grown used to the violent storms of their homeland. The Stormside Tribe was ravaged by a Bronze Dragon over a decade ago, and the remaining citizens were forced to flee. While some regrouped and established another community of Stormsiders, most have chosen to wander the realms and continents in search of something to fill the void the destruction of Stormside left.

OTHER HALFLING TRIBES

For halflings who claim Stormside descent and origins, they are more likely to find food and shelter and other forms of aid from other halfling tribes, even those who claim to have been enemies of the Stormsiders. When Stormside met it's destruction at the mouth of a Bronze Dragon, other halfling communities and tribes took in refugees in the name of helping their own. With Stormsiders having no home they can return to, other tribes are friendlier and more helpful.. but only if a halfling can prove their Stormside membership.

As a Stormsider, you have a cloak depicting a thundercloud and single bolt of lightning. This cloak was an ancient tradition within the tribe, with every halfling born to the community being swaddled in such a cloak and keeping it as they grew and reached maturity. These cloaks were, and still are, used to show a halfling's Stormside heritage to others. The cloaks themselves were imbued with arcane energy so that they could not be replicated by anyone wanting to falsely claim Stormside heritage.

You have an excellent knowledge of not only your tribe’s territory, but also the terrain and natural resources of the mountainous, forested, and grassland Stormside. You are familiar enough with any wilderness area that you find twice as much food and water as you normally would when you forage there.

Additionally, you can call upon the hospitality of your people, and those folk allied with your tribe, often including members of druid circles, and tribes of nomadic elves in times of need.
