You are a cleric that has struggled to find any connection to the divine, even though you have spent your whole life at a cathedral. However, one day through a series of unfortunate events someone ends up dead at the cathedral (Your fault). You pined over your mistake for days until you hear a whisper that directs you into casting a spell, the spell you cast brings back the unfortunate victim. You are over-joyed that you had brought someone back to life, and even more so that one of the gods themselves helped you do so. So much so that you fail to even realize the person you brought back isn't completely their mentally, or that you don't even know what god you communicated with. Higher ups in the church learn of what you have done and kick you out for negligence and possibly necromancy with the help of an nefarious god. You leave in search of traces of your new god, this search eventually leads you into taking difficult jobs in the chance of finding and remnants of your mysterious benefactor.
