Abandoned To The Wilds (BTC Submission) Image

Why were you left in the wild? Was it because as a baby you were found in a small village left in a back alley wrapped up snugly in a blanket? Was your family on the run? Were you unwanted? Did you have a gross mutation? Or maybe it was done on faith? Who's to say. Maybe all that was on you was this blanket, and a torn off piece of paper with your name written on it. Or maybe you were taken in by an older women of the village. She raised you lovingly, but after 12 short years she passed on. After her death people of the village came with torches and pitchforks to chase you out, either due to your odd appearance or perhaps superstition that you may have caused her death yourself. Whatever the reason was you were left for dead in the wilds that you have now called home. What happened to you during this time? Well that is for you to decide.

The beasts and plantlife of the wilds around you seemed to hold some sort affection for you, as you were always provided with whatever food and shelter you might need. Why did they do this? The may have felt a kinship with another creature who was shunned by the world. And so you stayed and prospered until something pulled you from your comforting home. Was it the thought of adventure? The need to find out who you are? Maybe you were forced to take action as people invaded your home? This is for you to decide.
