Due to your godly parentage, you have a certain smell that most monsters can pick up on. Unfortunately for you, this means they can track you within a mile or so, and farther if you are the child of a particularly powerful god. However, you have gotten quite good at fighting them off (or running away).
You have the ability to see things that others cannot because of your ability to see through the Mist, the barrier between the realm of gods and monsters and that of mortals. Most mortals cannot see through this barrier, rendering them unable to detect when there is a demigod-monster battle happening right in front of them, and often putting them directly in harm’s way.
You struggle in school because of your dyslexia and ADHD, which make reading and sitting still in class hard for you, often landing you in detention or the principal’s office. However, these drawbacks in regular life are huge advantages when living the life of a demigod. Your dyslexia is caused by your brain’s hardwiring for the comprehension of Ancient Greek, and your ADHD is an unfortunate side effect of your inclination for battle. Maybe it drives your teachers up the wall, but it definitely comes in handy when fighting monsters.
