Wolfbound Image

You come from a unique culture and civilisation, those that have grown up alongside dire wolves for generations. Only the most worthy are chosen to become Wolfbound, and are forever marked, soul and spirit. This bond transcends the blood of family and friend – your wolf is the other half of your soul, once split and now united. Being Wolfbound grants you status amongst your people, but confusion and fear should you travel away.

Origin

For one reason or another, you have decided to leave your village, which very few decide to do. The world beyond the ranges is filled with the cruelty of man, and you face discrimination and fear wherever your wolf treads.

d10 Origin
1 I stood up to a tyrant’s agents.
2 I saved people during a natural disaster.
3 I stood alone against a terrible monster.
4 I stole from a corrupt merchant to help the poor.
5 I led a militia to fight off an invading army.
6 I broke into a tyrant’s castle and stole weapons to arm the people.
7 I trained the peasantry to use farm implements as weapons against a tyrant’s soldiers.
8 A lord rescinded an unpopular decree after I led a symbolic act of protest against it.
9 A celestial, fey, or similar creature gave me a blessing or revealed my secret origin.
10 Recruited into a lord’s army, I rose to leadership and was commended for my heroism.

Feature: Eyes of the Wolf

Nothing could have prepared you for the reception upon leaving your wild yet familiar home. Wolves, let alone ones as large as yours, are rarely seen outside of the mountains. Not only that, but your yellow eyes are off-putting, and the tattoos that denote your clan unfamiliar. You are able to make intimidation checks with advantage while your wolf is next to you, and you may use your Strength modifier to do so.
