Cheerleader Variant: Former Cheerleader Image

You thrive in front of an audience. You know how to entrance them, inspire them, and make them cheer for whomever you want. You're used to working as part of a team and with a practiced routine, but that doesn't mean you don't know how to improvise or to keep all attention on you.

Variant: Former Cheerleader
You used to be one of the most popular kids at school, but you have now for one reason or another lost your position on the cheer team. Maybe you got kicked out for breaking one too many rules, or maybe you made an enemy of the wrong person. However it came around, you are no longer an active part of the team. Choose either the Fallen from Grace or Ruling the Outcasts feature. (In DnD Beyond you have to choose this as a background instead)

Feature: Fallen from Grace

You no longer enjoy the same social privileges you are used to, you've been dropped by the people you used to think of as your best friends, and the commoners no longer bend over backward to satisfy your every whim - they might even regard you with suspicion or look down on you! This new life may seem to suck, but it has afforded you a new and unique view of the fragile echo system that is school politics and how to navigate in it. You may chose one of the following skill proficiencies: Deception, Insight, or Persuasion.

Spell List
Spell Level Spells
Cantrip friends, minor illusion
1st charm person, color spray

Variant Feature: Ruling the Outcasts

You might have been betrayed by those you saw as your friends and been dropped from your social circle, but you would never let something that insignificant define you! Instead, you found a new circle to rule; the Outcasts. As their dark leader you inspire awe and fear from the normies around you, and loyalty from your subjects. The popular kids might challenge you or treat you with disgust, and a few brave adults might try to stop you, but for the most part people are too afraid of you to get in your way. During social interactions with people outside of your group, you may gain advantage on intimidation and disadvantage on persuasion.
