Failed Comedian Image

You were a funny child, you always knew how to get a laugh out of your peers and even adults. whether that be with nonsensical remarks, slapstick falls, or 'witty' puns.

As you grew older you wanted to take up a career in comedy, travelling to bars and hopefully getting tips. This is not what happened. You have been travelling around city after city, tavern after tavern, attempting to get people to laugh, but all they do is jeer and boo you. Maybe you never were that funny to begin with? Or perhaps your hometown has a particularly unusual sense of humour...

Skill Proficiencies: You are used to lying about your comedic prowess, and making sure people don't take back the few tips they may leave after you've told an offensive joke.
Languages: You aimed to have your comedy experienced by as much of the 'civilised' world as you could

You learned to speak one other language of the common folk; Common, Dwarfish, Halfling, Orc, Gnomish, Elvish

Equipment: a coin pouch of meagre tips totalling 1d6 silver pieces

Feature: Pitiful Patrons

After another night booed out of a chosen venue, the tavern keeper or a wealthy patron of the establishment may take pity on a failing artist, and give you something to try and help your hurt feelings; be it lodging, coin, or a small gift, at DM's discretion.
