Isolated Mind

You got away from the hivemind; whether that be from it falling apart, or leaving its range of influence; you once again have your own free will. Your mind is filled with the memories of others that have became entangled within the joined consciousness, leaving you to question which memories are yours, and which ones are phantoms left from your time as a member yourself.

During this time your unconscious mind has begun to lash out, trying to fill the void the hive once inhabited. You find your consciousness reaching out randomly to any other mind that happened by, inadvertently catching passing thoughts or planting those of your own, only adding to the pain of your already fractured psyche.

You have since somewhat calmed your unconscious mind, and find yourself faced with a decision; locate another hive, or flee.

1	I seek to prevent others from experiencing what I did, and will stop at nothing to destroy any hivemind I come across.
2	Once, in the fugue of the hivemind, my mind cleared to a sight most beautiful, as if plucked from my fondest dreams. Alas, the memory was not mine, and the location lost to me.
3	For many years, the solution to my thesis eluded me. While my consciousness was conjoined, the many minds of other connected scholars helped solve the final formula- and I refuse to meet my demise before my thesis is published.
4	When I was part of the hivemind, I saw a memory of a loving father marching in formation to rescue another member of the hive. I feel I owe his family knowledge of his fate, but I can't remember where he was from.
5	An unfamiliar voice called out, dragging me away from the comfort of the hive. I was broken free against my will, and found myself alone and abandoned. I often wonder if I'll ever find the owner of that accursed voice.
