Defector From Decadence

Whatever you are, it is distinctly villainous, by most standards. A bandit, an assassin, or perhaps just a literal monster, whatever it is, you're part of the problem.

Or at least you were.

For whatever reason, be it someone being kind to you, divine intervention, a desire for more in life, or a found opportunity, you have forsook your background  and/or nature to join those more commonly accepted as the good guys.

Equipment: A hooded cloak, a set of common clothes, a weapon that was 'borrowed' from someone who doesn't need it anymore, a pouch containing 10 gp and either some thieves' tools, a forgery kit, or a poisoner's kit.

1	I'm very slow to trust, but those I do trust, I trust deeply.
2	If I think I can get away with it, I will insult the person I am speaking to.
3	When I meet new people, I tend to scan them for weaknesses.
4	My humor is dark, bloody, and generally unacceptable. Just like my previous line of work.
5	Talk is cheap. It's actions that matter.
6	I'm a schemer through and through. I always I have at least one backup plan ready. Or try to have one, at any rate.
7	I don't trust altruism and other such things, despite how much I might want to. People always have an agenda.

1	For some reason or another, I seek vengeance on the group that I was a part of.
2	There was a person who inspired me to defect, and I try my best to act in a way I think they'd be proud of.
3	I still have friends in the group I betrayed. It's very awkward.
4	I have a keepsake from my time with the group I was a part of. It means a lot to me, even if it is something I stole.
5	I defected with somebody else. They mean the world to me.
6	I defected for the sake of a village. I still write to it, to make sure they're okay.

d6	Flaw
1	My parting with my previous group was... less than ideal. They're going to be coming for me.
2	There's something that very obviously marks me as a member of my old group. It's hard to hide, and is very distinct.
3	Under my previous group, I did something truly heinous. Nobody can know. Nobody.
4	I still have my baser urges. It can be very difficult to resist the call of loot or blood.
5	I've got a thirst for vengeance and a nearly suicidal tendency to pursue it, even when it is a bad idea.
6	I can try, but I just really don't get why 'evil' strategies aren't acceptable. I'll almost always default to more villainous ways of doing things.
