Laborer

A face within the endless crowd of workers, you have lived your life as one of the common folk. Laborers can always be found in service of either a trade, and industry, or an individual. Unlike artisans, laborers are defined as the lower class of workers, often within a mundane industry. Construction workers, hired ranch hands, miners, gardeners, carpenters, cooks, and even mechanics are some of the examples of people who encompass the laborer background. You and your community of workers never seem to hold the most wealth, but you take what you can get, knowing that work can be hard to get in this world. Your work may go unappreciated, especially by the nobles and wealthy of the world, but the cities and strongholds of the world would be nothing without you to shoulder the hard work.

The work and conditions that the common folk find themselves in will often leave a lasting impression on them, even when they explore outside their field and city. The mindset one can develop from their work can condition both determination as well as bitterness depending on what the laborer had to shoulder, often more than a traditional guild artisan.
