The Golden Vault has granted you the use of an Engineer's Assistant. The assistant is friendly to you and your companions and it obeys your commands. In combat, the assistant shares your initiative count but takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. The assistant regains 2d6 hit points if the mending spell is cast on it. If you or the assistant dies, it vanishes, leaving a Golden Vault Engineer's Coin in its space.

Feature: Just The Thing!

You can describe a device you pull out and use to accomplish a task. The specifics of how you accomplish this are up to you, but they should fit the challenge at hand. As a bonus action, make a DC15 Insight check. On a success, you are able to create the necessary item and perform the task (if it is reasonably possible). Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Role Proficiency

In addition to the proficiencies noted above, you can add your proficiency bonus to an ability check to craft an item
