Your life has been dedicated to the art of fluid movement-either working as an entertainer or roaming through the jungle canopy running messages over long distances, or as a cutpurse skilled in getting into hard to reach spaces such as affluent homes or trapped ancient tombs. Perhaps you ply your living discovering natural treasures on the treacherous peaks to the north of whatever mountain peaks you used to traverse. Those who have this background are used to a tumultuous life and transition well into adventuring, their skills make them an asset to any party.
From the Veil of Ruin 5e supplement.

Feature: Fearless Leap
Your dextrous body has been trained to make leaps and jumps others would never attempt. When you calculate your Long or High Jump you may use your Dexterity Ability Score and Modifier instead of your Strength. You may also attempt a Dexterity (Acrobatics) Check, DC 10+ half your level (rounded up), to make a standing leap the same distance as a running jump.
Suggested Characteristics
Acrobats are focused and masters of their craft, diligent practitioners they take jobs seriously often coming into conflict with less disciplined members of society or the people they work with. Many an Acrobat has left a troupe of performers who refused to keep up. Always looking for the next challenge, the Acrobat is a solid addition to any team.
