You're a budding pupil of an adventuring academy. As a student, you have access to a whole wealth of knowledge that can lead you to a number of pursuits. As a student of an academy, you feel pride and camaraderie amongst your fellow classmates. You and your classmates are capable of many great deeds and miracles, what a force all of you can be for change. You can also usually score a student discount and gain access to the libraries of other schools and colleges.
