Child of the Wild

You were a "special" child from the very beginning of your life. Your mother almost died giving your birth due to your sheer size, it looked like a grown-up man was born instead of a child. Gigantic in size, even for your race, you had as much muscle as little brain. After only a couple of months since your birth, your primitive tribe was ambushed and slain. You were lucky enough to be buried under the wreckage of your tent and stupid enough to not even scream in fear.

A couple of days passed until you finally decided to get from under the tent's remains.  Only a couple of moves of your huge hands were enough to clear all the debris covering you. After getting outside you found yourself in the middle of a destroyed nomadic village, among a couple hundred corpses rotting under the rays of the scorching sun.

You've spent many years wandering the frozen wastelands and mountains. Feeding on whatever you had the chance to find and drinking rainwater and animals' blood. Insects, small animals, snow, grass, even tree bark, and small muddy rocks. You used anything to fill up your immense stomach to live another day. Not having any contact with any kind of sentient life made you more of an animal than a humanoid. 

You lived like this for little more than a decade, until you finally met a group of adventurers looking for something in the mountains. You found them first and went to them, just staring at them like some weird animals you've never seen before. At first, they were scared and wanted to kill you, but seeing that you are not going to attack first they approached you and gave you some food. You've never eaten anything so delicious in your entire life, and that was just their regular food. It was a blessing for you not to be worried about finding another piece of meat or drop of water, so you started following them. 

They "tamed" you like a beast,  taught you are common language to the degree you could understand them, and made some word-like sounds in return. Making use of your immense size, strength, and constitution they made you a pack animal and a guard of you. They also showed you how to use some weapons without hurting yourself with them. You spent a couple of years with this party of adventures until you finally parted ways in a small town.

Since then you were used as a muscle for hire. Not having much idea about the concept of money you were cheap to hire for a loaf of bread and a piece of meat provided on a regular basis. You listened to anyone who were nice to you and feed you. You killed everyone who hurt you. A wild animal in a human body, without the idea of many concepts of civilization, your only aim is to live another day.
