You were once a agent of a deity, with your life devoted to them and to uphold their ways but then the day came were you were sent by your deity to achieve a goal but while you were on the journey to the goal a temptress crossed your path. A Succubus/Incubus found you to be a remarkable creature to corrupt. They tried to twist you with dark desires but after a few attempts the demon gave up seeing your devotion only made your resolution stronger. So they followed along with you on your travels while asking question after question, seeking information. After some time you opened up to talk to the demon as travelling alone took it's social toll. You began to enjoy the chats you had and even the company of the demon.
In the near completion of your goal you were attacked by many foes, no victory was in sight and you were struck by a fatal blow. You prayed and begged for your deity to help you in your moment of need but to no avail. Coming to terms with your death you were surprised to see the demon you chatted and traveled with standing over you. They then saved you and preceded to care for you till you were back to health. You felt a close connection to them and started a bond which blossomed by before long your deity found out and exiled you from their grace.
