You served on a spacefaring vessel for years. In that time, you faced down mighty solar storms, monsters of the nebulae, and those who wanted to destroy your craft. Your first love is the blank reaches of the cosmos, but the time has come for you to pursue new endeavors.

Discuss the nature of the ship you previously sailed with your Dungeon Master. Was it a merchant ship trading in spice mined from various outer rocky moons in the solar system, a naval vessel, a ship of discovery, or a pirate ship?

What were your duties on board — first engineer, systems technician, captain, astronomer, navigator, cook, or some other position?

Skill Proficiencies: Survival, Arcana
Tool Proficiencies: Navigator’s tools, vehicles (Space)
Languages: Celestial
Equipment: A faulty gps, 50 feet of woven carbon fiber rope, a lucky charm such as a moon stone or a small crystal with a light in the center (or you may roll for a random trinket on the Trinkets table in chapter 5), and a pouch containing 10 gp

Feature: Stellar Aura

No matter where you go, people are mystified by you due to your off-planet energy. When you are in a civilized settlement, you can get away with minor criminal offenses, such as refusing to pay for food at a tavern or breaking down doors at a local shop, since most people will not report your activity to the authorities.

Suggested Characteristics

Moonwalkers can be a rough lot, but the responsibilities of life on a ship make them generally reliable as well. Life aboard a ship shapes their outlook and forms their most important attachments.
