Gods were bored, so they made a bet. Which qualities are more important? They are bidding on you to make them satisfied. Some blessed you, and some cursed you. You are not sure what the Gods want you to accomplish, but certainly your life would be much more pleasant without it. You hope that one day you will be able to learn more about what happened to you, and you will be free from the game.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two of the following according to the Gods aiding you. Body: Athletics, Acrobatics, or Stealth. Mind: Religion, Perception, or Persuasion.
- Tool Proficiencies: Two of your choice.
- Equipment: Traveler's clothes, a warm blanket and bedroll, a cloth sack, and a pouch containing 10gp.
The Gods wanted to know which one is better? A perfect body or a perfect mind?
The nature of the blessings and the curse are hard to be explained, or examined by mortals. The gods want to keep their game secret to you and anyone else. If anyone tries to understand the effects they placed on you, they risk getting harmed. For the gods aiding you, they are more kind and usually don't attempt to harm those who want to know about your blessings; however, the gods punishing you would not be so generous.
Anyone attempt to know about your blessings rolls a d20. If they roll 10 or above, they success and take no damage. Otherwise, they fail their attempt and take 1d4 radiant damage. This includes any Divination spells or ability checks.
Anyone attempt to know about your curse rolls a d20. Unless they roll 19 or 20, they fail their attempt and take 4d4 psychic damage. This damage cannot be reduced in any way. On a success, they learn 1 effect of the curse. This includes any Divination spells or ability checks.
Clerics who can speak to their deities about the nature of the blessings or the curse get different results. If the deity blessed the character, the cleric can know about the blessings or 1 effect of the curse. If the deity cursed the character, the cleric learns nothing. If the cleric successfully learn something about the character, their deity would not speak about this topic until a month later.

Once anyone knows about the nature of the blessings and the curse the gods put on the character, divine voices are sent to their mind about a quest to either find treasures they prepared to help the character win their game, or a quest to what they need to do to break the effect of the curse. If all curses were lifted, the character and everyone helping them win the Gods' Game are rewarded handsomely.
