An Aspiring Seer, usually an apprentice to a skilled Seer, utilises the art Divination to foresee and predict future events. Despite their ability to use Divination, as a learner it is still flawed and requires proper guidance and practice to master, most skilled Seers usually have some form of focus to perform higher levels of Divination. As you have not fully mastered the art of Divination, its unreliable. Visions and messages of future events are hazy and vague, you can only muster enough power into your sight every now and then. Because of this most Aspiring Seers make a living off of scamming the unfortunate with fake fortunes, these scams are precise and done through reading the customer to predict and deceive them in believing its true.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose 2 skills of Insight, persuasion or deception.
- Languages: Choose one language.
- Equipment: A set of common clothes, one incense stick, a deck of Tarot cards, and a pouch containing 15 gp.
Your ability of foresight gives you access to the Divination spell once per long rest. However due to your limited skill as a Seer it becomes much more vague and hard to perceive. When the spell is used the answer received must be harder to understand and shorter than the standard divination spell, this reflects your inability to fully grasp the sight. The casting of the spell is performed as it usually would, with the same components, (Incense and a sacrificial offering appropriate to your religion, together worth at least 25 gp, which the spell consumes).
