Some event in your past drove you utterly insane. To outsiders, your decisions appear to be irrational and nonsensical, but to you, nothing could make more sense. Your madness can take many forms, being destructive, neutral, or just plain weird. Work with your DM to determine what form your insanity takes.

Madmen can have any number of characteristics. Their behaviour is often erratic, and it can often appear to be contradictory. A madman's attitude towards others is often shaped by how others perceive them. Were you accepted in your madness, or were you cast out and rejected?
