You were created for a purpose a very long time ago. Perhaps you were created to be a Guard, a Craftsman, an Assistant, a Personal chauffeur, or simply for the inventor to prove they could make something like you. Whatever the case you now find yourself in modern day, whether you were awake through the millennia or only powered on only recently, now forced to adapt to an era you were not created for.
- Skill Proficiencies: Being an Ancient Creature means you not only have knowledge of history, but experience of it. You gain Proficiency in History and one other skill of your choice.
- Tool Proficiencies: You were designed with a purpose in mind, You gain two tool proficiencies based on what you may have originally have been made for. If you weren't designed for a specific purpose or job, consider taking tinker's tools for self maintenance.
- Equipment: You start with two artisan tools, And 5 flasks of Oil.
You do not belong in the modern day, having outlasted even the oldest of elves. Your presence strikes suspicion and awe in the masses. You can easily exploit this to gain an audience with people who either want to study you, want something fascinating for entertainment, or to ascertain whether your a threat. This could range from Wizards and Artificers wanting to learn more about you, Nobles or Museum Curators needing something to engage guests, or Guard Captains making sure you won't explode on them.
