Deep in the forest is a small indigenous group of wood elves who live high in the tree tops known as the Shanta Sel Tribe. Most in this tribe have never stepped foot on land. They live in nest and hunt small game from the tree tops and forage, moving silently through the tops of the trees effortlessly with grace and precision. Most land dwellers who pass below them never even realize that there is a whole village right above their heads.The Shanta Sel Tribe worship Aerdrie Faenya, the Elven goddess of Air, Weather, Freedom, Impulse, Fertility and Birds.

Due to living in the forest and being able to judge the safety of the branches below their feet, hunt, track and recognize their natural surroundings they are proficient in Nature. Also the Shanta Sel Tribe have the excellent balance required for moving quickly and safely across branches and from tree to tree, this grants them proficiency in Acrobatics.

The tribe has superior weaving skills that they use for weaving branches and twigs together to create and build their nest-like homes giving them proficiency in Weavers Tools, and most everything that they own comes from the blessing of the trees, they have learned to craft most anything that they need out of wood making them excellent craftsmen with Woodcarvers Tools.

Spending their entire existence deep in the forest, they have observed and lived close to many druids and other elf clans, even accepting some of them into their tight knit community.They have adapted and learned to communicate with many of the woodland dwellers and speak Sylvan, Elvish and Druidic. They also have their own secret language similar to Thieves Cant. They can communicate through a series of chirps, whistles and chattering that is indistinguishable from the creatures of the forest.
