God of Death's Reaper

You come from a long line of reapers. Your family has upheld the balance of life and death in the world. Long ago, something occurred that led your ancestors to bargain with the God of Death, and in exchange, they became his/her agent of balance.

Your purpose in life is to uphold the balance. A reaper can be called upon to track down beings that have escaped death's hold, the undead are a direct insult to the balance. Sometimes a reaper can even be called to protect a life, as its death would result in an unbalance.

If one's time is up, one can count on a reaper to be there as a guide.

 

Skill Proficiencies: As a Reaper, you are tasked with hunting down those who insult the balance, therefore you have a proficiency in Perception (To sense nearby creatures by listening for their panicked breathing or racing heartbeat) and Survival ( to follow their tracks across long distances to find your target.)

Tool Proficiencies: As a Reaper, you have proficiency in one tool of your choice

Languages: As a Reaper, you are fluent in Abyssal and Infernal

Equipment: As a Reaper, you are granted leather armor, a large black cloak, a dagger, and a token to your god in the shape of a skull or scythe.

Reaper's speak with dead

You are able to 'speak with the dead' as an action once per long rest.

Reapers Sight (Unless you have taken Paladin, then Divine Sense overrides this feat, Just rename Divine sense to Reaper's sight for RP)

You gain the ability to occasionally sense the presence of the undead, whose existence is an insult to the natural cycle of life. As an action, you can open your awareness to magically detect undead. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any undead within 60 feet of you that isn't behind total cover and that isn't protected from divination magic. This sense doesn't tell you anything about a creature's capabilities or identity.

You are able to cast Reaper's Sight a total number of times 1 +  your proficiency bonus.
