Reborn into the New World of Zion when Toril fell. Kortax, who was once a powerful Demon Lord to the skies of the 333rd layer of the Abyss; now born again as a mortal in this new world. Kortax known also as the living embodiment of Dark Lightning. Mostly incorporeal and stuck to the skies of his 333rd layer of the abyss, it was known to always be storming as Kortax could never interact with his fellow demons while stuck to the storms above. Angry he would get and tired of being alone, he would often be found luring demons, devils, and even mortals of any who could fly to the skies above the 333rd layer. A small floating castle could be found above made from thick layers of clouds with a great many portals to other skies within.
- Skill Proficiencies: As Kortax had to learn as he grew being incorporeal, nothing could hit him it had seem. Now as he has been reborn as a mortal, large in stature and size; much different from who he was before. Heavy Armor it seems he has an affinity for as well as the Great Axe from which the demons below had Once carried.
- Languages: As words, melodies, and song all sore through the wind and carry, Kortax has listened to many languages over the years from the skies above. Abyssal, Common, and 2 other languages of choice.
Starting at level 4 you gain the ability to embody your Demon Lord form from your past life gaining a portion of that power. You gain another use of it and greater extentions of that power again at levels 9 and 14.
Level 4- Once per long Rest as a bonus action you gain the ability to embody your Demon form lasting for 2 turns. You become partially incorporeal gaining advantage on all Stealth check and adding +2 AC. While in this form you can cast a Lightning Strike as a bonus action using your spell attack modifier, range 60ft, dealing 2d6 lightning damage.
Level 9- Twice per long Rest as a bonus action you may take on this form now for 3 turns. While in this form you now gain the ability to fly speed 40ft. Advantage on Stealth, +2 AC. Lightning Strike range 60ft, 4d6 Lightning damage.
Level 14- You have gained a portion of your previous power that once took you a millenia to obtain. You now permanently flicker between corporeal and incorporeal gaining a permanent Advantage on all Dextarity Checks and Disadvantage on All Strength checks. With your new form you gain a permanent +2 AC and when you are struck by a melee weapon attack, the weilder takes 2d4 lightning damage as a result. You now have a flight speed of 40ft and can cast Storm Sphere Once per Day. As well as lightning Strike equal to your proficiency modifier; range 60ft, 6d6 Lightning damage
