As a Detective you are often overlooked by others, despite all the hidden work you do in the background. Being a detective you have to look in all places for clues and information on current cases, meaning the black market is no stranger to you. Most times, looking back at past cases has helped you with your current one, so you have a natural instinct to look bad a past situations that are similar to the present one.
Most Detectives are overlooked, not seen as the heroes of society despite all the work they do. However, military posts and other detectives/guards are likely to ask for your help in times of need.

Detect Magic- After running into many situations, you've gained the ability to detect nearby Magic
Pass Without a Trace- Sneaking in possible enemy territory, you've had to adapt to the quietness and ensure those with you have too
Speak wwith the Dead- many people in cases may be dead, after spending too long near the dead you've managed to Speak with them somehow
Charm Person- Able to Charm some into giving you the information you need, likely started by accident
