Maintaining balance in the natural order and combating the forces that threaten that balance is the twofold goal of the Emerald Enclave. Those who serve the faction are masters of survival and living off the land. They are often proficient in Nature, and can seek assistance from woodsmen, hunters, rangers, barbarian tribes, druid circles, and priests who revere the gods of nature.
As a prelude to your adventuring career (and in preparation for it), you served as an agent of the Emerald Enclave. You might have operated openly or secretly. Becoming an adventurer doesn’t necessarily require you to relinquish membership (though you can choose to do so), and it might enhance your status.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two between History, Nature, Religion, Animal Handling, Medicine, Survival
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose two between Alchemist's Supplies, Brewer's Supplies, Cartographer's Tools, Cook's Utensils, Herbalism Kit
- Equipment: A set of fine clothes, healer's kit, badge or emblem of the Emerald Enclave, and a purse containing 20 gp.
You have been taught some simple magic for your years of service to the faction and to further your ability to help the faction. You gain the Provisioner's Magic feat. You now know the prestidigitation cantrip. You can also cast the goodberry and create or destroy water spells with this trait. Once you cast either spell with this trait, you can’t cast that spell with it again until you finish long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Suggested Characteristics
Your bond might be associated with other members of your faction, or a location or an object that is important to your faction. The ideal you strive for is probably in keeping with the tenets and principles of your faction, but might be more personal in nature.
