You are from a different universe where multiverse traveling is normal, however while you were traveling the multiverse you crash landed into this universe with no hopes of returning home. Now you wonder this universe looking for a way to get home. (you tend to keep you multiverse traveling a secret) and when you crash landed in the universe you became somewhat unstable!
- Skill Proficiencies: investigation, survival
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of artisan's tools, one type of gaming set
- Languages:
two languages of your choice - Equipment: a photo of your dearest family, a set of travellers clothes, a box containing 1 gp. A multiverse map.
when you touch someone you roll a d20 if you roll a Nat 1 the person you touch becomes corrupted when that happens roll a d20 and the dm will describe the following action
Nat 20: the victim is given a get out of the backrooms free card (can be used to get out of the backrooms immediately no question asked)
Nat 19: the victim can only speak a random language (other than any languages they could already speak prior) for the rest of their life
Nat 18-12: nothing happens
Nat 11-8: dm choice
Nat 8-5: the victim gets teleported into the dungeons and dragons tv show
Nat 4: the victim can randomly lag for the rest of their life
Nat 3: the victims IQ is lowered by 999%
Nat 2: the victim no clips into the backrooms
Nat 1: the victim just strait up dies
btw to avoid messing with the story too much characters that play a big role in the story or will do so in future are immune to the corruption (the big bad is also immune...until it reaches 1 hp)
also if the player is doing this deliberately for something bad to happen to a character the chart is reversed so a Nat 20 is the worst fate
