Gingerby Traditions

A good Gingerbreadin is adaptive to life on the road, which can get spicy, facing a variety of dangers lurking outside of Gingerby. Choose one of the four Gingerbreadin disciplines such an Adventurer would be chosen for.

1 Chocolate finger fence vaulter - you may add, at the DM's discretion, (1d4)-1 to the result of a saving roll for a jump
2 Candy floss fork dodger - you may add, at the DM's discretion, (1d4)-1 to the result of a saving roll for a grapple
3 Sweet talking, smooth operator - you may add, at the DM's discretion, (1d4)-1 to the result of a saving roll for a persuasion check
4 Best bread baker - roll (1d4) at the end of a long rest, the result is the amount of edible rations you made over the campfire for the next day... requires a campfire

Feature: Do you know, the Muffin Man?

The Hagmother has always spoke of her long lost love. The Muffin Man. He was as sweet as he was good looking. But most importantly, he knew how to cook and taught the Hagmother his recipies, she just added a slight twist. After years of living within her influence, you too learned how to cook some delectable sweet treats and breads.

In an inn, tavern or bakery, you receive free milk and lodging of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment and your size), as long as you successfully help cook or teach recipies during your stay. In addition, your baking makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognise you in a town where you have been baking, they typically take a liking to you.
