Those blessed enough to wield the mantle of the chosen do not weave their own destiny, but have it woven for them. A chosen one has been fortold for centuries with ancient prophecies speaking the future, though these are vauge & obscure. As a chosen one you have your own set of prophecies that fortell you saving humanity. The common folk will adore you & extend every courtesty.

Those who bear the mark of the chosen never truely blend in. Those of salvation are flocked to by people while those of ruin can scatter a busy street. However one who is choosen sees themselves as a cut above the rest, & with good reason. While they can act like they don't they still themselves that way

Though most chosen are a banner of hope & salvation you bring with you despair & ruin, you are fortold to either destroy humanity, or save them & destroy them.
The common folk know this & will fear you, though there will always be zealots who will follow you. People will ignore you if you are commited non-violent crimes, though they will complain later & use this to besmirch your reputation, they will not hinder you.
