At some point in a Kender's early adulthood, normal life becomes dull, the need to wander grows and the youthful Kender become set about with an insatiable curiosity and drive to explore. "Kender feet have a mind of their own, and they tend to wander away now and again" the saying goes. Wanderlust drives a Kender to seek new places, experiences, adventures, and friends and generally lasts into middle ages, assuming the Kender survives them. While native to Krynn, the need to poke their heads into any crack or see what's on the side of any door has lead many a Kender to find themselves scattered across the multiverse and permanent residents of other planes.

Kender reputation precedes them, and those who familiar with them know to watch their valuables around them. With reactions ranging from overt stares and tapping a hidden pocket to clutching a purse and outright counting their gold, many in the world pay close attention to their valuables when a Kender is around. This attention can be troublesome for a Kender who wishes to remain undetected, but quite useful if one wishes to be a distraction.
