Almost all of the common people and the rest of the individuals that can be found on the Sword Coast and the North have one thing in common: they spend their lives without traveling more than a few miles from where they were born. You're not like them. You come from a distant place, so remote that few inhabitants of the North are aware of its existence. There's a good chance that even if someone has heard of your homeland, they know it only by name and perhaps because of some outlandish accounts. You've come to  this corner of Faerûn for reasons of its own that you may or may not want to divulge. While you may no doubt find certain customs of these lands strange and perplexing, rest assured that some things that others take for granted will seem like new wonders that you have never seen before. By the same rule, you're someone interesting to those around you almost anywhere you go, for better and for worse.
