You are a small member of a small village of individuals who have remained on the outskirts of the major nations and remained independent as a result. However, as time grows and nations expand your quaint little town has become the ire of a neighboring nation's ruler who now seeks to enforce their rule over your people. With a large army at his beck and call your home has very few means to refuse their claim of ownership over our land. However, your village has had very little interaction with outsiders apart from wanders and traveling merchants so you lack information surrounding their policies and how its citizens are treated, the messager who came to deliver the nation's declaration gave very little info. So to learn more about the country that attempts to claim your home your leaders choose you as their representative. Your mission is to learn as much as you can about this nation and how it rules over its domain, as well as attempt negotiations with its ruler to ensure the fair treatment and well-being of your people under their leadership. What will you learn during your journey? How will handle the negotiations? Will you succeed in your efforts to ensure your people's safety, or will you incur the wrath of an unwanted power?
- Equipment: You possess a letter of introduction that states your purpose and your authenticity as a representative, a list of concerns and requests you need to express to the nation's monarchy, a bag of tradable items to exchange for money in this foreign land, along with a collection of assorted items for proper diplomacy.
You aren't the most skilled member of your community in most fields, but whenever there is an argument or a dispute over something in your village you are always the one to sort things out. You possess many great qualities such as a calm and likable demeanor, and a knack for solving problems with reason, understanding, and a level of insight that has granted you victory in many conflicts while generally leaving both sides satisfied with the outcome. You always hear both sides out and analyze the problem to ensure that justice and peace are restored, thus you're able to leave with all their conflicts resolved, making sure their issues are expressed and understood properly to ensure the situation is not repeated.
