Those loyal to your family will make reasonable efforts to help you: give shelter or lend a hand with hiding out, but usually will expect to be rewarded by your family when their efforts are made known. Conversely, you might find that your family has enemies that might want to hinder you and your efforts, either spying on you for rivals or even attacking you. Still, even rivals are far more likely to attempt to take you alive if possible, since a ransom is likely to be paid for you.

The Criminal Scion tends to follow one of two tracks: Loyal or disloyal.
The loyal Scion will support family efforts and attempt to make sure their efforts in some way support the families goals. This might make the family an excellent source for jobs for the party to take on, so long as they aren't too picky about their sources of income.
The disloyal Scion will either openly or subtly work against the enterprises of their family. Openly is far more dangerous, since the family will have to work against them. Still, the disloyal scion might be a source of work for the party of her own, since they will be attempting to end criminal activity.
You operate against the efforts of your family openly. You have a strong understanding of how the family operates however and can attempt to anticipate the sorts of tactics and help they might use. You gain advantage on any Intelligence (Investigation) checks about family operations.
