You have decided to make a contract with your planet for one reason or another, which has lead you to becoming a Counter Guardian. You gave up your free will and now must complete the sole task of preventing the intelligent races on your planet from self-destructing. In this regard, your planet sends you to specific time periods in order to eliminate possible threats to the survival of the intelligent races on your planet.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Stealth
- Languages: Two of your choice
- Equipment: A pouch containing 50 gp (given to you by your planet)
There are many different reasons as to why you made a contract with your world. Choose or randomly determine the reason why you made your contract.

As a Counter Guardian, you are bound by the contract with your world until it is destroyed. As such, your world has halted your aging so that you may continue your job for longer. You also cannot willingly attempt to die in order to get out of your contract. When you begin to make Death Saving Throws, you automatically gain one success.
