You are a postal worker or courier. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays you from the swift completion of your appointed rounds!
You likely work directly or indirectly for House Orien's Courier's Guild in some capacity. House Orien maintains a postal service that runs through all major cities and towns connected by the lightning rail. House Vadalis, however, offers a small revival service that employs gargoyles. These are not, of course, the only services available in the City of Towers.

Post-war Khorvaire remains a perilous place, and the streets of Sharn are no exception. Footpads and spies, desperate people, and conniving backstabbers may all look with longing at your plump mail bag. Courier jobs are thus not for the faint of heart. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the Last War still yearning for adventure or simply an individual in need of work, the possibilities are many.
Your route might keep you to the opulent streets of the upper city, where affluence collides with intrigue; likewise, you may travel the warrens of dark alleys and acrid smog of the cogs, where a different kind of danger looms. Alternatively, perhaps you are part of a "pony express," venturing to the far-flung corners of Khorvaire, navigating trackless wilderness in pursuit of timely deliveries. The choices are yours to make, and each path presents its own set of challenges and rewards in this treacherous post-war landscape.
