You hatched as a lonesome egg on the forest floor, somehow having survived incubation with no parents in sight. Your raven kin sensed your presence and raised you into a well-developed adolescent. Then, you discovered how to shapeshift purely by accident. A human discovered you and brought you to an orphanage in the nearest city. In an unfamiliar body you had to learn how to use this new form, how to speak, read and use your new limbs. Once you became a teenager you left the orphanage to roam the city. You were expected to know human laws and expectations. However, you never understood why most of these rules exist, so you broke them often, becoming a seasoned thief. Lying, stealing and cheating became ways of life. You learned to be incredibly agile and stealthy in your new form, and used it to your advantage to take enemies by surprise. Now, you long for the next moment you can be free in the skies, and even moreso to find out who your parents were.
