You grew up in the servitude of another individual, company, or family. Maybe you had no choice in the matter, or you chose this life, but you spend your days providing for others. You spent your years in a state of mediocrity; never needing more than you were giving, but wanting more constantly. Perhaps you were bought and sold from one place to another throughout your childhood, or maybe you come from a long family line of caregivers. During the day you worked hard for those you cared for, from chores to manual labor, and at night you slept in simple comfort; nothing luxurious, but nothing destitute.
You begin your adventuring career with enough money to live modestly but securely for at least ten days. Did you run away from your Lord or Lady? were you given what you needed to live your own life, or did you steal it? Did you find your freedom, or take it?

Suggested Characteristics
Servants are shaped by lives of general servitude, for good and for ill. They tend to be driven either by a commitment to the people with whom they shared life with, or with those they cared for — and in some cases, aspiring to become like the Lords and Ladies they catered to.
