Gladiator Of The Death Arena Image

You escaped from the Death Arena, where you were forced to fight to the death for the entertainment of others.

You have two skill proficiencies from the following list: Athletics, Acrobatics, Insight, Performance, Intimidation.

You can speak and read Common and have one other language or tool proficiency.

 Answer the following questions:

  1. Who runs the Death Arena?
  2. How did you end up in the Death Arena? Maybe you were kidnapped by the people who run the Death Arena. Maybe you committed a crime or were framed for one. Maybe you made a deal to fight in the Death Arena in exchange for the freedom of another.
  3. How did you escape from the Death Arena? Maybe you were helped by the party, a sympathetic guard, or an important figure that opposes the people behind the Death Arena.
  4. What was your life like before you became a gladiator?

Regardless of the answers to those questions, you now have a new goal: to stop the Death Arena, avenge the people who died in the Death Arena, and honor the those who you were forced to kill (e.g. paying money to their loved ones or completing their dreams in their stead).

Have your dm generate a list of victims by rolling a background on the table below and using that to generate a character on Tetra Cube’s D&D 5e Random Character Generator, altering as needed. You managed to learn the following information about the people you killed: Their full name, where they are from, how they became a gladiator, and their background. Have your Dm share this information about all the people they generated with you, but keep the rest of the information secret until your character discovers it.
