Helem's Brigadier Image

Hailing from the Serpent Coast, adventure and protection are your bread and butter. You have dedicated your life to making sure that your fellow people of the Serpent Coast are protected while on the road, and that their livelihoods are maintained. Helem's Brigade stands as the sole bulwark against the forces outside of Hope that would see its citizens harmed or hindered. Your faithful leader, Sir Helem Karr, is a hero and a celebrity, and you wish one day to live up to the position, praise and station that he has placed upon you.

Defining Event

You previously pursued a simple profession among the peasantry, perhaps as a farmer, miner, servant, shepherd, woodcutter, or gravedigger. But something happened that set you on a different path and marked you for greater things, and introduced you to the life of Helem's Brigade. Choose or randomly determine a defining event that marked you as a hero of the people.

Since you protect the common folk, you fit in among them with ease. You can usually rally the common folk to a cause, and in times of need are able to persuade the common folk to join you in an attempt at something, even if that thing would put them in harm's way. Your station is incredibly well respected, and people would follow a brigadier to their doom believing that it would make the world better.
