Because of this, you suffer from Ogrephobia (Monster of your or DM choice). When in sight of an Ogre(s) or Ogre-kin, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw every round whilst the Ogre(s) is alive or until fleeing from combat or suffer from Cause Fear, and if the save fails by -5 they suffer from Fear.).
Being an orphan, the barracks adopted and treated you as a child soldier.
Being a Soldier you have had vigorous training, and have the choice of Survival or Athletics skills.
You were adopted by the Chaplain, a Priest of Ilmater priest who taught you herbalism and gave you a Herbalism Kit.
The Chaplin taught you Medicine or Religion skill.
As a child soldier, you have been taught cooking and healing and have been given the equipment to support these skills Healer's Kit, Cook's Utensils,. You have the proficiencies but not the ability bonus.
As a leaving gift, the soldiers gave you a dagger, and a handaxe.
Being the chaplain's orphan did you learn HEALING from them or you have learned to be ALERT from being on the sentry picket?
