You were chosen by the Æther to be stronger than the rest. Unbeknownst to you, you were born with a spark. Your spark may ignite later in life, and in this case, you become known as a Planeswalker.
- Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with one skill of your choice. When you become a planeswalker, you gain proficiency with arcana and one other skill of your choice.
- Tool Proficiencies: You are proficient in tools based on the colors you choose (choose two):
white:healer's kit
blue:thieves' tools
black: poisoner's kit
red: smith's tools
green:
if you choose the same color twice, you gain expertise in that tool instead
- Languages: green Æther chosen learn druidic
- Equipment: Æther chosen have an arcane focus, and once they become a planeswalker, their arcane focus melds into their body, becoming weightless. Æther chosen also have a pouch of 15 GP, and an item based on their color. An Æther chosen that chose the same color twice does not gain two of the same item, but loses the second item.
You learn one cantrip from the spell list of each of your colors. Æther chosen that chose the same spell twice gain two cantrips of that spell list. your spellcasting ability is determined by the spell list the spell comes from
white: cleric, wisdom

red: sorcerer, charisma
green: druid, wisdom

you get two personality traits based on your colors. a single color Æther chosen gains the 'single color' character trait in addition to the trait granted by their color.
white: I will heal anyone, no matter how evil, everyone deserves a second chance.

black: I raise throngs of worshippers from other realms to give me my strength
red: Fire first, ask questions later.
green: The only place I feel safe is nature.
single color: I never work with people of other moral alignments than my own.

planeswalkers are awakened Æther chosen that have an awakened spark. Planeswalkers choose a path within their colors to focus:
white: healing
blue: illusion
black: necromancy
red: fire
green: nature
planeswalkers gain a first level spell that they can cast at first level without expending a spell slot, once per short rest. This spell is chosen based on the elemental option the character chose
healing: restore life- target creature regains 27 hit points. this does not affect undead or constructs.
illusion: illusionary strike- target creature transforms temporarily into a spectral form, releasing a terrible fear into all those around them. Each creature of that creature's choice within a 30 foot sphere that can see it must make a wisdom saving throw against your spellcasting DC. If you have no spellcasting DC, use intelligence as your spellcasting modifier for this. A creature takes 10 (4d4) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
necromancy: rise from the grave- target dead creature that you can see within 10 feet of you receives 27 temporary hit points and is under your control. This effect wears off after one hour, or a period of strenuous activity, such as at least five minutes of fighting or 10 minutes of running.
fire: flame lash- target creature takes 27 fire damage.
nature: druid strike- target creature takes 18 damage of the type of your choice: bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing. You regain hit points equal to half of the damage dealt.
