Forgotten God

Long ago, amidst the tapestry of divine beings that once graced the planes of existence, there existed a deity, whose name has long been erased from the annals of known history. Once revered and worshipped by thousands upon millions of mortals, this deity's domain encompassed aspects of creation, knowledge, or perhaps even concepts beyond a mortal’s comprehension. But as the ages passed and civilizations had risen and fell, the once-powerful deity faded into obscurity, forgotten by all but the most ancient of texts and tales, crumbling away into the pure and true era of its mystery.

As the last echoes of prayers and offerings faded into the sands of time, so too did the power and righteousness of this Forgotten God wane. Bereft of worshippers and followers, their divine essence began to fade and surely diminish, until, at long last, they were reduced to that of a mere mortal; their once-mighty form, now humbled and weakened. Now stripped of their former essence, the Forgotten God wanders the worlds as a shadow of their former self, seeking a purpose, and redemption amidst the ruins of their past legacy, from the long gone era of their own divinity.

Skill Proficiencies: Despite having been stripped of your divine status, the flour still retain faint echoes of your former power. While these remnants are but an infinitesimally microscopic shard of their former glory, they occasionally manifest in subtle ways, offering glimpses of a god's forgotten nature. These manifestations might include moments of uncanny insight, fleeting bursts of unnatural luck, or the ability to commune with ancient spirits and beings long lost to the annals of time. You have advantage on Intelligence (Insight), Wisdom (History), and Charisma (Religion) checks, and are immune to spells or magical items that attempt to read, or permanently alter your mind, except for the spell Wish.

Languages: Being a god has gifted your knowledge You can speak, read, and write Common and Undercommon, and one more dependent on your alignment, being either Celestial (Good), Primordial (Neutral), or Infernal (Evil).

Equipment: A symbol or relic of your former divine status (a cracked holy symbol, a tattered tome of forgotten lore, etc.), a set of t clothes, a pouch containing 1 gold piece, and a trinket of your choice that serves as a reminder of your former divine domain.
