After a life of mundane city-dwelling, you left your home one way or the other and started traveling around the world.

Skill Proficiencies: Stealth, Survival

Defining Event

You previously pursued a simple profession among the peasantry, perhaps as a farmer, miner, servant, shepherd, woodcutter, or gravedigger. But one day, you chose (or were forced) to leave that life behind. Choose or randomly determine a defining event that sent you away from your old life.

d6 Defining Event
1 I craved excitement. Something new.
2 I got exiled for a heinous crime, guilty or not.
3 I left, by choice, because of something I did to someone I hold dear to me.
4 I embarked on a journey for something (or someone) that went away.
5 I wanted to start over in a new place, somewhere fresh and far away from what I recognize.
6 A tragic disaster destroyed everything I once called home, and now I'm stuck finding my place in the world.

Feature: Rustic Hospitality

Since you come from the ranks of the common folk, you fit in among them with ease. You can find a place to hide, rest, or recuperate among other commoners, unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them. They will shield you from the law or anyone else searching for you, though they will not risk their lives for you.
