You have Advantage on Medicine checks for others creatures, let them be allies or enemies.
Your dedication allows you to persuade even hostile patients to let you treat them.
It also means that while you can defend yourself, you cannot kill people, as you swore to do no harm.

Travelling where the danger is, associating yourself with pig-headed veterans or flexible newbies.
